It took me almost a year to change my hair colour for I was not ready to trade my hair texture or strength for anything in the world. The procrastination didn’t last long courtesy team Loreal Professional India that promised to not only give me the most awaited hair makeover but also add strength to my locks this summer. Beauty blogger too get hesitant when it comes to hair colouring or experimenting with our locks (I get apprehensive each time I receive a hair experiential email from the PRs) but then again, some brands have my heart and that’s why when I read about the launch of L’Oréal Professionnel’s new bond protective and strengthening system, I couldn’t wait to try it out myself. 

The SMARTBOND by L’Oreal has been designed for the hairdressers and is to be used during all technical services such as hair colour, pre-lighten and straightening services. It’s for you and me and anyone who wants to change hair colour, follow new trends and more. Protecting hair health is just as important as following hair trends and that’s why I recommend for you to only refer to acclaimed colorists when it comes to hair makeovers. 

I went to the Geetanjali Salon at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon and got lucky to meet the hair expert Sumit Israni to do my hair cut & styling while the team L’Oréal Professionnel took care of the colour transformation. Very easy to use, SMARTBOND acts in synergy with all L’Oréal Professionnel hair colouring and lightening products. First, all the hairdresser needs to do is to include the step 1 additive (for salon only) during the technical service, bleach or hair colour for example, for a bond
protecting and strengthening result. Then, after rinsing, the hairdresser applies the step 2 professional pre-shampoo on hair from roots to ends, rinses again after 10 minutes and applies the usual post hair colour or decoloration service. Veteran Bollywood actress Reema Lagoo passed away at the age of 59 after reportedly suffering from cardiac arrest. She complained of chest pain on Wednesday night, she was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Andheri, Mumbai where she breathed her last. She was best known for playing the on-screen mother in hit movies like 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and 'Hum Saath-Saath Hain'.


We are so sad to hear this news. May her soul Rest In Peace!

His personal life always became the hot topic of the town. He broke up with his girlfriend Ankita Lokhande after 6 years of relationship. They were all set to get married last year. In a recent interview to DNA, Sushant talked about Ankita like never before. Few days back, there were rumors doing the rounds that they met on a coffee date. When asked about the same he said,"I didn’t even think of meeting, forget about meeting. It has been 14 months that I have seen her. I don’t know where it is coming from." 


He also added,"Nothing was decided. Whatever it is, but it is pretty organic. It is happening on its own. This story, I don’t know where this is coming from. I haven’t met her. I don’t want to do it at this point in time because I think it is the correct thing to do. There was another story, that said I went in my Maserati and mentioned that we had ice cream, and then I came back and bashed the fans waiting at my gate for some reason. None of that happened. (laughs). I just thought of having an ice cream very honestly, but that’s it."

  1. Calm Acne Inflammation: With the presence of anti -inflammatory properties Turmeric great for acne prone skin.Take a pinch of Turmeric and mix it with 1 tablespoon of mashed bananas. Minimize Dark Spots and Pigmentation: Since turmeric has color-balancing properties, it's great for reducing dark spots and pigmentation. Take 1 teaspoon of brown sugar,1 teaspoon of tomato juice ,1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice ,1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, Mix them well and apply on the face for about 10-12 minutes and then wash it off, This face mask can give amazing results.
  3. Detoxify Skin Mask: Take 1 Tablespoon of chickpea flour and about 1 teaspoon of turmeric add this to water.Apply this mask generously om the face and let it dry naturally, wash off with cold water.
