Unpainted nails are rarely appealing and this is the perfect season to have fun with your nail colours just like you do with your outfits and make-up. Move away from the plain, the old and the boring and switch to something blingy and glittery which matches the festive season just right. The Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Lacquer is another stem of the Color Show Range. The Color Show Range consists of over 40 shades and the quality at such a reasonable price is commendable making me a huge fan of the same. So let’s get to the details to see if the Glitter Mania range could live up to it or not.

Packaging:
The Glitter Mania packaging is the same as the rest of the Color Show range which comes in a transparent cylindrical bottle with a black cap and it is very easy to recognise the shade without having to open the bottle.
Product:
Even though I’m a big fan of these nail colours, I found something missing in the Glitter Mania range. Available in 8 shades, I picked up the ‘601 All that Glitters’ and ‘603 Starry Nights’ and they are just the right amount of bling and even dry up quickly. The only drawback is the highly rough texture of the product. In the effort to mattify it, Maybelline ended up making the nail-colour rough.
Price:
Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Nail Lacquer retails for INR 145 which is pretty decent as there are not a lot of glitter shades available in the market. Since the texture is quite thick, you do not need much of the product for application.
Apply it on alternate nails or just on one nail out of the five and colour the rest 4 in a bright shade. You could also use it for a French manicure to give it a festive twist.
