Lakme Fashion Week 2017 was high on celeb quotient on Day 2. Gracing the ramp for Assamese designer Sanjukta Dutta's “Mekhela Chador”, Bollywood diva Preity Zinta looked charming in a black and red Assamese sari. Inspired by Goddess Durga and traditional Assamese motifs like Singkhap (lion), Moourah (peacock), Pokhila (butterfly) the ethnic designs reflected true communal harmony and serenity of Assam. From gorgeous colour to vibrant embroidery and zari work, this collection was amazing.
