I have to thank Rushil Vashisht for introducing one of the best multi cuisine cafe to my palette and for reinforcing my faith in appetizing CAFE food. Situated at the heart of the city, 'The Vault Cafe' truly echoes flair of fresh and wholesome ingredients against a setting of colonial era featuring vaults and cellars.

Mojito with mint and cloves & Strawberry & mango smoothie

Peach Iced Tea & Strawberry & basil smoothie
BBQ Chicken
The Vault Special chicken dumplings
Prawn and Chive Dumplings
chicken breast with mushroom and peppercorn sauce
Chicken burger with mushrooms and caramelized onions
Tandoori trail platter
Blueberry cheesecake
The Vault Cafe has a menu which is a culmination of essences, regions and novelties from across the globe. There is a lot to choose from, even when it comes to the Indian food menu. The ambiance has British influences and the interiors boast of contemporary café like feel with a hint of vintage. This cafe is appropriate for an evening rendezvous of friends, for the families who are wanting to indulge in scrumptious food menu or for a girl friends gig.

For drinks we ordered Mojito with basil and cloves. The drink was very potent and had white rum based infused with basil, cloves and lemonade. We also ordered a mango and strawberry smoothie which was equally tasty. For the second round of drinks, we tested (my personal favorite) peach iced tea and I have to admit that the tall glass of drink was absolutely yummy.

It was raining and hence we started out with the Vault special chicken dumplings. The minced chicken, bell peppers, water chestnuts and peanuts had a zesty flavour. My favorite pick was prawn and chive dumplings, outright delish! BBQ chicken strips were much loved as well!

Among mains, I loved trying grilled chicken breast with mushroom and peppercorn sauce. The peppercorn sauce added a perfect spicy savour while mashed potatoes gave it the right amount of thrill. Chicken burger with mushrooms and caramelized onions could be your ‘it’ burger! The patty was juicy and flavorsome. We were through with so much food until the Chef came and met us. Upon chef's recommendation we tried the the tandoori trail platter. It is an assortment of extremely yummy Indian kebabs and tikkas; Amritsari fish won my heart. Last but not the least, we were also made to indulge into mushroom galauti kebab, an absolute must have! The dahi ke kebab can't be missed either. Hence proved, Cafe Vault is a vegan's delight too :)

We wrapped up the review with Chef's special blueberry dessert which honestly wasn't as great as the food. But the place also offers some of the best shishas in the town and GREAT music.

Final verdict: Vault Cafe is for the party goer, the foodie, the music lover and I do recommend it to the ones who want to try an exciting multi cuisine cafe in town.

Service: The staff is extremely friendly and the service is prompt.

Cost: Meal for two costs around INR 1500/- + taxes

Final Rating: 8.5/10
