I Rubbed Nails For A Month And Here's The LOGIC Why Rubbing Nails Will Stop Hair Loss!

In recent times, people are becoming more conscious about their health. We are learning about more and more friends joining yoga classes and doing pilates. Since our lifestyle plays an important role in our life and that exercising isn't really possible every single day, we have learnt of some hacks (being practiced by our parents mostly). Blame it on our hectic schedules, but there is is one trouble that needs utmost attention and that is hair fall! However, these is one and only Yogasana  that can help this issue and fix it up like no other.

Well we are talking about Balayam which takes care of myraid of hair problems like pre-mature greying, hair fall, all kinds of damage and more. I at Team Guiltybytes practiced this yoga asan for a month and here's what I learnt about the reason as to why we rub our nails AND WHAT DOES IT REALLY DO...

It's Very Important To Know What Is Balayam?
It's an alternative reflexology therapy for hair growth which involves rubbing identical fingernails together with some amount of force. There are many people who are actually following this. Before any conclusion, it's important to know how does it work.

How Does It Work?
If you rub your nails daily for a minimum of 15-20 minutes it will make your hair grow faster. Except thumb, we have to rub fingernails. It claims to prevent hair greying and hair fall. I tried it and rubbed my nails religiously for a month only to get softer looking hair.

Can't say much about the hair growth but practicing it daily is improving the texture or perhaps my diet is helping too since I have cut out on diary products totally.

What's The Logic Behind It?
There are certain nerve-endings below your fingernails which are stimulated when you rub them together. It is said that when you rub your nails, it stimulates your brain to send a signal to adult stem cells to revive the dead or unproductive hair follicles. More than anything else, rubbing finer nails increases blood circulation to the scalp.

Another reason why I really did try doing Balayam. A scalp with good blood flow makes for healthy and luscious hair afte-rall.

It's Not Good For Everyone:
I was recommend by my Yoga teacher that rubbing nails is not good for people with High Blood Pressure. Also, pregnant women should avoid doing this in order to avoid uterine contractions or high blood pressure.

What I did feel that it causes slight dizziness and not sure if everyone feels the same.

When It Will Be Affected:
Its said that when its about hair fall and hair loss then the results show up in 3-6 months. And if you are looking for hair growth then you have to wait for 6-9 months.

Well I am only  month down and I can't wait for my hair fall to stop. My hair texture looks a lot better after rubbing my nails religiously.

Does It really Work?
On this there are mixed thoughts. I guess I will do an updated post after 3 months (incase I get significant results). Oh and my nails have a more smooth surface more than anything else now ;)
