The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is almost over. As per the tradition, after keeping the Ganpati in the house for a few days ,the idol of Bappa is immersed in water requesting him to visit their homes again the next year. While B-Town celebs welcomed their Ganesha with full zeal and enthusiasm, Salman Khan had to give the celebrations at home a miss as he is shooting in Manali fo Kabir Khan's Tubelight.

But despite Salman Khan missing the celebrations, the Khan Khandaan welcomed their Ganpati yesterday and sister Arpita Khan Sharma posted some beautiful pictures on her Instagram account. The Khans did not immerse their Ganesha in the sea and immersed it in the most unique and special way. The idol of Ganesha was immersed in a temporary pond in their garden. Surprised? Well, here's how the Ganpati Visarjan happens at the Khan residence.
A temporary pond is made in their garden and the idol is immersed there. The water is later used to water the garden. Since their Ganpati idol is organic, hence no chemicals are used in its making. we love the idea of Organic Ganesha idol!!!
