What goes well with a rainy weather, cool breeze and Soulful Sunday...for me it's a perfect glass of Wine!
A Sunday at the outdoor courtyard, Cheri One Qutab was indeed well spent. From Live Cook Off with a the resident Chef and sparkling wine from Four Seasons Vineyards flowing every where, the day sure had some perfect gastronomical experience coupled with the perfect flavors of Wine(s)! I won't call myself a wine sommelier but my favorite in the day was the beautiful looking, Blush Wine.

In February 2012, Cheri One Qutub opened next to Spectacular word heritage monument, the
Qutub Minar. Cheri is an outdoor courtyard on the site of a 100 year-old Serai, it has floor to
ceiling glass windows, cobble stone floors and patio dining, with distinctly Parisian feel .

With its vintage chic dining inside and regal courtyard outside, this spot is great for an afternoon of
terrace chilling - and is a lot more relaxing than flying all the way to Italy.
All dressed for the brunch, I am wearing beige pants from Mango
Frill, floral top from Globus
Bag from Aldo
Cherry Red Shoes from Venus Steps

A perfect welcome with Four Season's Sauvignon Blanc White Wine. The zesty acidity in the wine carries the ripe taste of the fruit, that goes well on the palate.

Chef Raman’s style is quite simple, to make the food taste as good as it possibly can, in the most
restrained and natural way. “Food is not only a necessity, it’s an enjoyment,” says Raman Kohli, Executive Chef at Cheri One Qutub.  Seen here with the chef is wine sommelier Abhay Kewadkar.

Here is the best savory dish for today. The Pan Seared Scallops had a perfect blend of lemon zest and cracked pepper. What made these scallops taste even better was a dash of Four Seasons white wine Sauvignon Blanc.

I even got to try the best of mock tails in this wine tasting extravangaza! After sipping and splurging into many, my pick of the day remains Apple Mist.

When in here, do try the Chicken and Mushroom pie. i am a very big fan of pie's and to me the crunchy-ness of the pie crust, it's puffiness matters the most. The chicken marinated in garlic and thyme stocked along with Parmesan cheese was a winner. Utterly light and delicious, this one's a must have!

My list of gourmet delights began with vegetarian's specials- Artichokes that had a peculiar honey soy flavor, followed by the chickpea kebas with garlic mayo that were super delicious! But wait, the dish that was truly a stunner was the extremely light Berry mini cheesecake. Even though i swear by the blueberry cheesecake of Big Chill, Khan Market, I have to admit, this Berry cheesecake was equally good and tasted even better with the Blush wine!
Teaching me a lot about wines, seen here is Adtnu Tiwari, Brand Manager for UB Group

Four Season's gorgeous looking wine was the Blush Wine. A deliciously fruity, off dry wine with balancing acidity was extremely refreshing and fun to sip!

If you are looking at a place that is fun, interesting and offers you variety of space and good food to party, then do try Cheri One Qutab. On a cool evening, this place for me tops the list for having dinner on the roof top section, but hey if you want to have close conversations, then their indoor section is beautifully done up as well!

Prefect wine and great food makes a perfect Sunday, hope you all had a great weekend too!
