Be it any skin type if you don't take proper care of your skin, your skin can easily get damaged with blackheads. Blackheads are like black marks on the face, that need extra effort to get rid of them. Blackheads occur when your skin is unable to breathe or in other terms gets clogged due to overactive sebaceous glands, dirt, and grime. The other reasons for blackheads can be hormonal changes, steroids, oily skin, hair follicles and others. But worry not we bring an easy remedy to expel the blackheads from your face and our life saviour like every time is our home ingredients. Go raid your kitchen cupboards and make your skin flawless.
1. Cinnamon powder:
Cinnamon has antimicrobial properties that will throw out the dirt settled deep inside your skin layers. Along with cinnamon powder, add honey and lemon juice that will prevent bacteria and keep your skin hydrated and dewy. Apply this mixture on your blackheads and rub in circular motion, wash it after a few minutes.
Tip: if you want, you can even apply it and leave it overnight.
2. Egg whites:
Egg whites are highly nourishing for your skin as well as they work on shrinking pores. Separate egg white from the yolk and smear it over your face. Leave it till it dries and then wash with cool water. Apply this twice a week and say goodbye to blackheads.
3. Turmeric and mint juice:
We all know how effective turmeric and mint are for your skin. Both the ingredients will enhance your skin texture, remove blackheads and prevent acne, breakouts. Apply this mixture as a face pack or just cover the affected areas and let it dry. Pat your face with water and scrub in a circular motion and then wash with cool water. You can do this thrice a week.
4. Honey and milk:
This is the easiest recipe to get rid of blackheads. Honey has antibacterial properties that will fight acne, whereas milk is a cleansing agent that will remove grime settled in your skin layers. Slather it on your blackheads and leave it to dry. Rinse your face with water and repeat this every alternate week.
5. Orange peel powder:
Orange is the powerhouse of Vitamin C and has antimicrobial properties that will ward off bacteria, dirt from your face and keep it super clean. All you need to do is take the orange peel and let it dry in the sun for a few days. Once the orange skin turns hard, blend it to get the orange peel powder. You can add the green tea concoction, rosewater or even tea tree oil with the orange peel and apply it on your blackheads. Once it dries off, wash with cool water. Make sure you follow this twice a week.
Tip: if you have sensitive skin, orange peel might give a tingly sensation (it means the ingredient is working on your face).
