Happy Diwali everyone!!!!!! It's a day to celebrate and embrace relationships and people who matter the most. While I am gearing up for evening festivities, in between I thought of sharing my outfit which is very simple and very ethnic this time.
Breaking away from all blings and anarkalis, I chose my timeless Phulkari bagh dupatta in earthy colours. I remember buying this bagh after a lot of unending contemplations. There were other brighter shades and pinks and purples of the world, but for some reason my heart fell for this combination that has emerald, beige & browns weaved in the most elegant way possible. I teamed the dupatta with a black churidaar and black georgette kurta and the very famous 'Ram Leela' coin earrings. Makeup is natural and exciting sicne I am crushing over my golden glitter liner and I made sure it's a part of my look. And I am sure you can't help but notice, that I am donning a bindi, for the very first time! This time I also kept the shoot simple and real by choosing the background as my drawing room and it's my second indoor shoot on the blog! (I must say, my team and I did a pretty good job ;)
Apart from eating 1000+ ladoos, I am making sure to get back to each person who means everything to me this Diwali. Stay connected to the ones you love via phone calls, emails, skype calls, letters etc. and more than anything else, celebrate togetherness this Diwali. Hope you all have a great festival.
