After unwinding at a spa-resort in Austria, Karan Johar, along with filmmaker friend Zoya Akhtar, touched down in the Queen's City London earlier this week to ring in his 44th birthday.

The Student of the Year director was celebrated his birthday in style at a London hotspot and partied all night long with his famous friends and close pals, Shah Rukh and Gauri, who had landed in London on Saturday. Besides the Khans, KJo's mother, Hiroo Johar, and friends, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Manmohan Shetty's producer-daughter, Aarti, and Kaajal Anand also timed their vacations to coincide with his special day. Ranbir Kapoor who had been shooting in Morocco for Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos were also at the bash. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor who have been holidaying in London for the last week, were also at KJo's do, as was Sidharth Malhotra minus girlfriend Alia Bhatt. Buzz is that it was a informal and fun bash with lots of music and exquisite food.
