It's very exciting to see how culinary events are shaping up in the capital. Last week was rather eventful for the team, while Miss Guilty was busy with fashion week posts and events, I on the other hand had my share of (food) events to attend. A cookout at The Oval Room at The Mansion, Hyatt Regency, Delhi with MasterChef Sarah Todd and Executive Sous Chef Luca was a a memorable experience indeed.

A moment with the celebrated Chef(s) |
The cookout had some really interesting dishes on the menu starting with Middle age Fritters with pan fried parma ham glazed with balsamic vinegar and served with rocket salad. Prawn and lemon ravioli with Italian bisque was lip smacking delish. The highlight of the day however remained vegetarian sausages with braised lentils and Taleggio cream. Chef Luca's style of vegan sausages is something that I would love to re-create in my kitchen for you all. Taleggio Saune can be made at home kitchen by melting cheese with ream in a pan over moderate heat. It is one of the core ingredeints of the sausage and is as delicious as it sounds. The Mansion's Oval Room, also happens to be Delhi's first event space featuring dramatic theater kitchens. With Sarah Todd being one of my favorite contestants from MasterChef, it was endearing to meet her and share culinary ideas with her. And guess what, Both Sarah and I can die for spices. Over a conversation, she shared that she will be carrying a lot of Indian spices with her to Australia. Thoroughly enjoyed the aster class with the two culinary experts of Italian cooking, followed by a scrumptious Italian meal!
