With the market being flooded with BB creams and CC creams for different skin types, it's time you as a user, understand the difference between the two! While the initials of both the creams do explain a basic difference, let's decode the two cream types to understand which one does your skin require right now.
BB creams stand for Beauty Benefit and they are multi-functional type of creams. It's a non brightening primer, light foundation, moisturizer, sunscreen, all in one.
CC creams on the other hand stand for complexion corrective creams. It's like a skin brightening primer, light foundation, moisturizer and sunscreen as well.
BB creams are better for dry skin and focus on maintenance of the skin while CC creams works wonder for oily to acne prone skin and focuses on concealing existing issues.
Both the creams come with tinted moisturizers with added benefits. They are perfect for makeup quick fixes and do give skin a certain illumination. However, with my experience, I have felt CC creams are more appropriate for makeup as a base for the foundation while BB creams are more like day creams for your skin. Both the creams don't cover up imperfections of the skin but serve as one easy step to even the complexion out.
Hope this post will be of a help! Which one do you prefer more, CC creams or BB creams?
