I posted a photo of 6 minutes microwavable egg-less chocolate cake and I had so many of you requesting me for the recipe, so here I am with one of the most yummy recipes of 2014 that happened in my food lab! The original recipe creator is #TeamGuiltybytes member, Divya, can't thank her enough for it.
This cake is probably the most simple one that you will ever come across. You can bake this for a quick birthday present, last minute dessert plan or simply when you want to celebrate without having to worry about Tuesdays or any other day when you have to avoid eating an egg.
As a birthday present |
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup refined sugar
1 cup yogurt
2 tablespoon oil
1/2 teapsoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
chocochips (optional)
Directions
In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together, that is 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup cocoa power, 1 cup refined sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda and mix well. Now add 2 tablespoon oil and 1 cup yogurt to the mix. Whisk the batter to aerate it, and add choco-chips to it, don't whisk too hard and pour it in a microwavable container. I used a borosil dish for the same and microwave it for exactly 6 minutes in normal, heating mode. Let it stay in microwave for additional one minute and that's it! Garnish your cake with sugar decorations and serve it.
