Some people look for their soul mate all their lives and then there are some who need to simply look around to find theirs! This is a story of a Delhi bride who was all set for a wedding without actually having a groom! An independent Punjabi woman didn't know that her best friend would actually become her husband forever and ever.
While looking for a groom, Vikram, the hero of my story stood by Neha through thick and thin until one day he gathered all the courage and proposed to her. I now know that best friend type of relationships are the most taken for granted kinds, I mean lets admit it, we can't do without our best friend and then we can't be straight about our feelings for that person either, isn't it? In any case, Vikram took the chance that changed both of their lives and soon after, their wedding preparations began! The wedding was held at Delhi amidst winter and the bride was clearly looking for a bright wedding dress for her d day.
After finalizing a bright red lehenga with green choli, that Neha purchased from Chandini Chowk, she began hunting for a makeup person to do her wedding makeup! Going to a salon was clearly not an option for her as she felt that all the salon tad brides look absolutely the same, and that's when Neha met Guru, a freelance makeup artist from Delhi. Neha's brief was simple, she wanted bold, dramatic eyes with a peachy look on the cheeks, bright lips and a clear bronzed look. Having a fair complexion, the delhi bride opted for makeup that would enhance her skin tone and thatt's why she refrained from airbrush routine. Guru gave her beautiful smokey eyes with greenish golden glitter on the eyelids that accentuated her eyes and gave her bright red lipstick that went perfectly well with her lehenga. As for her hair, he made a bun and a plait and tied gajra in her hair. Her cheeks had a tint of bronze and peach and maintained a nude colour. Bold kohl on eyes, was a cherry on the top! The entire hair and makeup cost her about Rs.25,000.
