Balika Vadhu Fame Pratyusha Banerjee approached the police alleging that four people who posed as policemen molested her. The incident happened at her residence in suburban Kandivali. She claimed in her complaint that the men barged into her flat in Laljipada and left the place only after she threatened to approach Kandivali police. However, police had a different story to tell.
The police officer denied the allegation saying that the four policemen in plain clothes had gone to the actress's flat today to trace Rahul Singh who stays with her and against whom a Non- cognisable (NC) offence has been registered. The officer also denied any misbehavior with the actress by the police personnels.
They went to her house today, but were told by Pratyusha's mother that Rahul is in Goa, following which they returned, the officer said, denying any misbehavior with the actress. No FIR has been registered yet.
Now Pratyusha Banerjee interacted with media and told the whole matter. Here's what she said...
"On December 30, some people from bank came to my flat for recovery of money for a car loan. I gave them Rs 5000 as EMI but even after receiving money, they misbehaved with me and my friend Rahul after which we had some heated arguments with them. But on January 4, suddenly four people came to my house and started misbehaving. As soon as they entered my flat, they started asking for Rahul. When I said he is not at home, they started misbehaving with me but when I shouted back and threatened that I will call the police, they immediately left my place."
