How we treat our skin throughout the day can make the most substantial difference. No matter how my day looks like, I make sure that I prep my skin with the right kind of skincare products every morning. I am superbly excited to share a range of magical skin care products by Citra India on the blog today that is taking care of my skin to the fullest. Citra’s available in 2 ranges that are enriched with the power of Korean Akoya Pink Pearl and Japanese Green Tea. Featuring unique natural ingredients with potent formula, it brings in products that can help you get a long-lasting glow from within and here’s my first impression and a quick review of the products:

It can take some time to find what skin care ingredients work best for your skin type, but once you find the perfect daily wear products - it then becomes easy to get a great skin!

    1.Citra Pimple Clear Face Wash

The very first thing that caught my attention was the Citra Pimple Clear Face Wash. I was quite excited to try out this coveted product for it comes infused with antioxidants from Japanese Green Tea, which we all know is great for our skin. The face wash comes in a simple squeezable tube that cleanses the skin to reveal skin freshness and radiance. Priced at INR 75 for 50 gms and INR 140 for 100 gms, the face wash lathers well and has a pleasing fragrance. Regular usage of the Citra a pimple clear face wash detoxifies the skin, thus aiding in getting rid of blemishes and preventing them from cropping up in the future.

2.Citra Pearl Fair Gel Face Wash

Glowing, radiant skin is constantly on our minds and that’s why its time to trust the natural ingredients found in Korean beauty rituals. Citra Pearl Fair Gel Face Wash cleanses the skin that also enables skin’s natural glow. It is working wonders on my skin ever since I have added it to my otherwise non-existent ‘waking up’ routine. For best results spread the solution onto your face in small circular motions and then rinse your face and pat it dry with a face towel. Priced at INR 85 for 50 gms and INR 160 for 100 gms, the face does deep cleansing and smoothens the skin.

    3.Citra Spotless Fair Face Cream

I always prefer something that gives my face just enough moisture without feeling greasy and maybe that’s why Citra Spotless Fair Face Cream is now part of my daily regime. This lightweight formula works effectively from within your skin to recapture healthy-looking radiance. Japanese Green Tea reduces spots, blemishes, and dullness leaving your skin looking even, fair and nourished. Priced at INR 99 for 30 gms and INR 199 for 50 gms, you should massage this cream onto your skin post-cleansing until its fully absorbed for best results.

    4.Citra Pearl Fair Face Cream

Your search for a lightweight daily wear moisturizer ends here! Citra Pearl Fair Face Cream comes packed with Korean Pearl extract that leaves you with a glowing skin at all times. A single pump of this potent formula blends easily into the skin, making your face appear even toned and illuminated. To combat the holiday tan or dullness, this face cream could be your best bet this festive season. This face cream is priced at INR 99 for 30 gms and INR 199 for 50 gms. Ever since I have begun to use this moisturizer twice every day, my skin texture has improved to great extent.

I have been infatuated by the enormous options in the market basis the advertising and the promises some brands claim but having used the Citra skincare range are one of the best decisions I have made. Do give these products a try and yes, I will be sharing my festive skin care tips and ideas in the next set of posts ☺

Though it's tempting to fall into the all-black-everything habit the moment autumn-winter begins, fashion weeks, on the other hand, continues to inspire me to embrace rainbow year round. This week at the Amazon Fashion Week Spring Summer 18, my eyes have been overwhelmed by the brightness: jackets, dresses in cobalt, and pants in orange colour and more. And so I scored an OOTD idea that brought in a lot of versatility and helped me put 3 bold pieces together from the label Krishna Mehta who is now available on the #AmazonDesignerBoutique.

I met designer Krishna Mehta at her showcase at the fashion week and loved the way she puts together all her design inspirations. My outfit for the day represents pure fabrics, great choice of colour with a twist of the unexpected. I loved wearing the orange tunic for its very avant-garde and is a great everyday staple. The layer on top is a personal favourite featuring a silhouette that’s quite versatile with a pair of pants that easy, effortless and superbly comfortable. This is a kind of fashion that’s my own particular style- the way I’d dress almost all the times. To add a dash of lemon yellow co,our to my outfit, I added my fav accesory label for the fashion week- a clutch purse by designer Puneet Gupta. Love these quote clutch purses and 'SWAGGER', well it has to be a favourite :) I also did a silver eyeliner with extended wings in black because fashion weeks are all about experimenting with new beauty trends after all, isn't it? Now you too can shop my entire look online on Amazon.in.

Third week has started in the house of Bigg Boss 11. In yesterday's episode we all saw Rithvik Dhanjani and Ravi Dubey playing some fun games with the Hina Khan, Shilpa Shinde, Arshi Khan and other housemates. Shivani Durgan got evicted from the show because of low votes. In today's episode one of the padosi will get evicted.

Firang model and actress, Lucinda Nicholas, who has spoken very less, is now out of the show. It all happened because padosis were given a task by Bigg Boss to enter the main house as ‘Family'. Vikas Gupta and Akash Dadlani got to know that the ‘padosis’ are lying. Because of this, Bigg Boss gives punishment to the 4 padosis, Luv Tyagi, Mehjabi Siddiqui, Sabyasachi Satapathy and Lucinda Nicholas. In the living area, other contestants of the house have to decide which the least deserving padosi in the house is. Majority of them votes for Lucinda. So she got evicted from the show.

    This is shocking!

Face masks make a nice treat for your skin. With all the dirt, pollution and harsh conditions it can get exposed to, your regular skin care products and routine might not be enough to rejuvenate your skin and bring back its natural glow.
For acne-prone skin, however, not all face masks can do wonders. Some can make your skin oilier while others can trigger more breakouts. To make sure none of those things happen, here are 2 DIY face masks for acne we highly, highly recommend.
1.Banana Face Mask : This might sound weird, but trust us. Banana can do wonders for your skin, especially if it’s prone to breakouts.
For one, banana has vitamin C which is effective in reducing post breakout spots. It’s also one of the best vitamins in reducing skin inflammation and speeding up wound healing.
It also has vitamin A that can treat your acne and help your skin repair itself.
Another interesting ingredient in this face mask is honey. This ingredient has natural antibacterial properties to fight off acne-causing microorganisms.

    • Peel the banana and use a fork to mash it up.
    • Once there are no more chunks and solid pieces, mix the honey and stir carefully.
    • Apply the face mask on your face and neck.
    • Let it sit on your skin for 30 minutes before rinsing
2.Baking Soda and Apple Cider Vinegar Mask : If you’ve been hunting for a great acne solution, there’s a good chance you’ve already read the good things about apple cider vinegar. It’s actually an amazing stuff.

For one, it has malic acid which is able to kill bacteria, fungi and viruses. It can also restore your skin’s pH balance.
Sodium bicarbonate, meanwhile, works well in loosening the skin around clogged pores. It can also soothe inflammation.

Now, to get started with this DIY face mask for acne, you’ll need the following:
    1. Half glass of water
    2. ½ lemon
    3. Sodiumbicarbonate
    4. Honey
    5. 1 teaspoon of applecider vinegar

    • Dilute your apple cider vinegar in a half glass of water.
    • Get a separate container where you can place your baking soda.
    • Slowly add the vinegar solution to the baking soda while stirring.
    • Squeeze the lemon and add the honey.
    • On a freshly cleansed face, apply the mask and let it sit for around 10 minutes.
    • Rinse with warm water first and then finish off with cold water.

Once in our life, we all wish for a dream proposal, but never say it loud, thanks to our culture. But we spotted one groom who planned a dream proposal to woo his wife-to-be. Tamil Actor Ganesh planned a secret Flashmob Proposal with the help of his family and friends on the day of their engagement. And Oh Boy, it was neither a normal proposal nor an engagement. Scroll down to know how he popped the question.
    How He Popped The Question?
On the day of their engagement Ganesh didn't just put the ring, he first proposed the lady of his life that too in a swoon worthy manner and waited for her answer. Surely his wife Nisha was left amazed (her expression says it all). Ganesh first danced and wooed Nisha with his professional moves and then went on further to pop the question. I always wanted to do a Saree at the Fashion Week and am so happy that this year it finally happened courtesy the #AmazonDesignerBoutiue. Having Amazon Fashion, as my official fashion partner for the fashion week has been both ecstatic and so valuable that I can’t even begin to tell! One of the best parts of everyone's favorite #Streetstyle project at the fashion week is the fact that a great outfit when curated right, is always part of the equation.

Before I move on to my outfit, Day 4 at The Amazon Fashion Week saw the launch of 2 of my most preferred fashion brands at the Amazon lounge. The day started with the launch of an all-new collection by GAP which was then followed by a Mogra themed party by the brand Rheson. Sonam & Rhea Kapoor's brand Rheson is now available on Amazon Fashion online and am sure that the shoppers will love to explore the brand on the all-new e-store powered by Amazon.

I choose to do a look that represents my personality and who I really am. A traditional woman with a “girl boss” attitude and that’s why I proudly wore a saree by designer Ptiti Sahni in all its glory. This stunning silk saree in hues of blue complimented my vibe impeccably. For a laid-back fashion week look, I loved to pair this saree’s original blouse that features a contrasting printed pattern. The minimal jewellery might look casual but the statement clutch purse from designer Puneet Gupta amps up the overall style quotient. This clutch purse blends in beautifully on the outfit and at the same time embraces the multi-faceted qualities of a modern Indian woman! And in case you didn’t notice already, I wore a pair of printed Juttis with my saree because comfort comes FTW. You can now shop this look online on Amazon.in
