Hey everyone, this post is about this makeup look , that's colorful and trendy. It's definitely something that you can carry off at a lot of different occasions.

See The Full Video Tutorial here : https://youtu.be/oonfTroRKjo

  •  For this look , I started with my eyes first , also used a tape so that the edges and look is more clean and I personally feel comfortable with this .
  • The first shade I took was a Matt Brown shade from my Sivanna Bronzed Professional Platte .i used it as my Crease and transition shade .
  • Next, I went ahead with my absolute favorite Makeup Revolution Eyes Like Angles Palette and First I used a Gorgeous slightly shimmery shade of purple starting from the middle and taking towards the outer corner of my eyes . I just placed it and slowly intensified the color.
  • Once the purple shade looked pretty , I went ahead with a  bright Pink shade from the palette . I placed  it from the middle to the inner corner of my eyes .
  • After this, I blended both the shades together and even re touched my Transition shade .
  • Once I was happy with the eye shadow, I applied my eye liner and removed the tape.
  • For the eye lashes I used my Rimmel Wonderful Mascara ,and yes even curled my lashes so that the eye lashes look well defined.
  • Moving on to the face First thing I did was use primer. For this look, I used my Pac Pore Separation cream. It really helps my skin look much smoother and the pores appear smaller.
  • I also color corrected a bit using the LA girl concealer in Orange . For the foundation, I went ahead with my MAC STUDIO FIX and used a beauty sponge to blend it all in .
  •   Once the foundation was done I used Mac studio fix concealer to get a more flawless look on my face.
  • To set everything I used a setting powder and baked for a little while, During that time I did my eyebrows using the Maybelline Brow Pomade.
  • Instead of dusting off the powder I just used my beauty sponge and pat it into my skin .
  • For a slight contour, I used the Sivanna Bronzed Professional Palette and took a brown shade to contour my cheekbones and also my chin area.
  • To add some highlight and color to my cheeks, I used the Freedom Pro Blush Palette.
  • I also used the Pink & Purple shades from the eye shadow palette to define my water line. I think this made the eye makeup look complete and more appealing as well .
  • For lips , I mixed two beautiful pink shades , one frm Nykaa paintstix, which I love to another level and another is a subtle pink shade from ELLE18 .

So yeah , that's how I got this look , You can totally check out the video to understand it better !

Our skin is constantly undergoing a lot of changes.  These skin changes are generally irreversible. Natural Oils help super amazingly in keeping our skin healthy and youthful looking.  These Oils have a soothing effect on our skin and help in repairing damages.

With age, a lot of people experience that skin looks loose and dull.  A few changes in the habits and with regular attention to our skin can actually tighten the skin. These 3 amazing oils can do wonders to the skin!

#1: VITAMIN E OIL :  Vitmain E oil , is like an essence of good skin. The oil helps in overall improvement of skin , its texture , health and quality.
Take about 3 capsules of Vitamin E tablet , cut it and pour the oil in your plams . Masaage gently for good 3-4 minutes and let it completely absorb it into the skin .  Leave this overnight , or if I may say make this your everyday routine and add this to your night skin care regime .

#2 : Castor Oil : Now this one does not always suit every time , castor can cause breakouts if it doesn't suit your skin. Definitely, do a patch test before you try this remedy.
Castor Oil is has lots of vitmain e and omega 3 fatty acids present in it .  It deeply nourishes the skin and also keeps the fungal infections away from our skin.
Take about 3 spoons of castor oil and warm it up a little bit .  Gently massage the skin for good 2-3 minutes  and leave it on for about an hour , after this wash your face with a mild face wash . Do this thrice a week .

IN REVIEW : Faces Ultime Pro Second Skin Foundation !

Faces had launched a new range of products under the name ULTIME PRO ! They had many different makeup products . The one I chose to try was the Ultime Pro Second Skin foundation . Its priced at INR1,274 !

# The product claims : Faces Ultime Pro Second Skin foundation with its new breakthrough color technology is a ultra light, liquid to powder formula that works like magic to your skin.
 # Its a serum based foundation that feels super luxurious on the skin.

#Packaging : The foundation comes in a luxurious frosted glass bottle with a dropper at the top. I really liked the packaging as it looked pretty classy .  The packaging however is not travel friendly , it might break .

#MY EXPERIENCE : I have the foundation in the shade Sand and it matches my skin tone really very well , so that made me super happy .  It comes in about 4 shades which isn't that great as we all Indians cannot fit into 4 shades . The texture of this foundation is towards medium consistency and it's slightly runny as well . The best part is that it's super velvet smooth and glides on like a dream . Extremely light weight as well .
Talking about the coverage , it's a medium to full coverage foundation , easily build able , It definitely conceals the flaws very well and just looks very skin like if you have the shade that matches your skin tone . I feel the finish of this foundation is neither too mate nor too dewy , it's somewhere in between which I feel is a great thing and cater for different skin types .
The staying power of this foundation is pretty good I must say . In this super hot humid weather nowadays , It stayed on my face for good 7 hours when i last wore it  . It did not even crease , But i did set it with some loose powder specially my TZONE as it gets oily .  Also this foundation comes with SPF 15 so it's good for day wear ,  It did not give me any flash backs even when i wore it in the night time .

  • All in All I have been really loving this foundation , I wouldn't say that it's the most affordable foundation , But definitely a worth it one as it's actually pretty good . Do try this one if you can fit into one of the shades . The coverage , texture , longevity is absolutely amazing , The only downside is the shade range .
  • I would like to rate this one as 4/5 , I would have given it a 5/5 if they had more shades to cater for more skin tones.

The Jab Harry Met Sejal Trailer is out! This is what we think!

The Jab Harry met Sejal trailer is out and this is what we thought!

As an avid follower of indian cinema, one only has to say ‘Imitiaz Ali’ and I am sold. But pair, the direction of Imitiaz with the acting of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma and you get an experience such as Jab Harry met Sejal.

The trailer introduces Harry (Shah Rukh Khan), a some what frustrated punjabi tour guide. It seems like he is unsatisfied with his life and has given up the desire of anything better than his present. Sejal (Anushka Sharma) is a little harder to describe. She’s an oddly funny, loud yet attractive gujarati character. Having lost her engagement ring, she drags along a very reluctant Harry to help her find it. Together they start a journey of many adventures, with the aim to find the ring, but, as portrayed by Imitiaz, I believe they both will find something much deeper that is lost inside both of them.

Where Imitiaz has already won the battle, is that in the matter of less than 3 minutes, he has made us build a connection with both characters. As an audience, I laughed at Harry’s paradoxical and desperate statements to get out of helping Sejal, smiled at the cute moments shared between the characters and related directly to the rawness and realness of Sejal’s imperfections.

I can’t help but think of Imitiaz Ali’s Jab We Met however - little bit of a crazily unique, but totally entertaining and lovable girl loses her way and forces a not so interested guy to help her. The over all vibe of the story is seems very similar. If the movie is anything like Jab We Met, I am so super ready to watch this movie.

Imitiaz illustrates a some what deep concept in a fun, light hearted and relatable way. The songs are energetic, the cinematography seems wonderful, but what makes me want to watch this movie is the characters and their story.

The movie releases on the 4th of August, and I can not wait!

"The Real Flagbearer Of Nepotism Is Media" Saif Ali Khan Wrote An Open Letter On The Nepotism Fiasco!

Saif Ali Khan, Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan are facing lots of problems because of their IIFA act. The joked on Nepotism and dragged Kangana Ranaut’s name into it. Varun took to Twitter and apologized and after that, Karan and Saif followed the same path. Now, Saif penned down an open letter to DNA about the whole fiasco.
Here Are Some Excerpts:
To whomsoever it may concern,
Over the last few days, a lot has been said and written about the skit on the IIFA stage by Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan and yours truly. Let’s first see what happened here. “Nepotism Rocks” was a joke on stage. It’s not something that I wrote or something I believe in. It was a joke on ourselves, between Varun (Dhawan), Karan (Johar) and me. It was not supposed to be a big deal, but I realised at some point, that it might have offended Kangana (Ranaut). I called her and apologised personally. That should be the end of it. Everybody needs to take a chill pill and back off.

However, in today’s world, apologies are made through Twitter or though some other social media platform. That, is basically apologising to your fans and the world in general, instead of apologising to the person concerned, because you don’t want to lose support. These are the times we live in. We wish each other happy birthday or offer condolences on social media. This is another reason I don’t want to be on any social media platform — it feels fake. As far as the issue of saying something stupid on stage goes, I’m sure it’s not the first or the last time I’m going to say something stupid in an attempt to be funny. And I apologised to Kangana, so I don’t owe anybody else an explanation. The issue is over.

What I can’t seem to understand are some of the media reactions to this. While most people have been sensible, three reporters from the websites BollywoodLife, The Quint and Elle India, made a point of saying that all I did was use big words like eugenics and genetics. I think it’s extremely relevant in a conversation on nepotism, which means family favouritism, to talk about genetics and eugenics. Eugenics means well born and in a movie context, the genes (the DNA we’re born with, not the blue trousers we wear) of, let’s say Dharmendra’s son or Amitabh Bachchan’s son or for that matter, Sharmila Tagore’s son come into play.

Because people are interested in what their children will be like and whether they will have the genes of their parents, in terms of their talent. If you need another example, then take race horses. We take a derby winner, mate him with the right mate and see if we can create another grand national winner. So, in that sense, this is the relationship between genetics and star kids. Hope that’s clear? As for the girl from Elle: I’m sorry you found words like eugenics in a conversation about nepotism misplaced. Perhaps if you got your head out of the hemline of the actress of the month and read a book, your vocabulary might improve.

The real flagbearer of nepotism, I’d say is the media. Look at how they treat Taimur, Shahid’s daughter Misha or even Shah Rukh’s son AbRam. They photograph them and hype them up to be the next big thing and the child has no choice. From a young age they have to deal with being celebrities, which they don’t really deserve, before they can even speak or talk, leave alone understand what is happening.

So, what is nepotism? I think nepotism means when you give somebody from your family a job that somebody else is better suited for. But, is that what happens in movies? Is that what people mean when they say that there is lot of nepotism in film industry? I think perhaps what Kangana means (and again I’m only assuming here) by nepotism is that people from Dharma or Yashraj are against people like her, who have come up the hard way without their support and that they only support their own people. Whether that is true or not I have no idea and it’s none of my business.

Nepotism is probably least prevalent in the movie industry and rampant in politics and business. Nepotism in dynastic politics is a well-known and unspoken truth. It’s the same in business. But nobody talks about that. Nepotism is Donald Trump putting his daughter in the White House rather than someone who is better qualified. Actors are the soft targets. So if you say star kids have an advantage, of course, they do. It’s an advantage created by the press because people are interested in them. There is a curiosity to see Taimur, Sara or Ibrahim. It’s supply and demand. People want it, media serves it. So we’re all part of the same vicious circle in that sense.

What do you guys think?

Kangana Ranaut's Open Letter To Saif Ali Khan On Nepotism Is A Must Read!

Saif, Karan and Varun are making headlines with their 'Nepotism' act from IIFA 2017. Varun apologized on twitter which was followed by Karan and Saif. Yesterday, Saif wrote an open letter to DNA on Nepotism and everyone was waiting for Kangana's reply. And finally, she spoke. Kangana Ranaut on Saturday penned an open letter in Mid-Day addressed mostly to her Rangoon co-star, Saif.
Here What She Wrote:
All the debate and exchange of thoughts on nepotism is exasperating but healthy. While I enjoyed some of the perspectives on this subject, I did find a few disturbing ones. This morning, I woke up to one such open letter (circulating online), written by Saif Ali Khan.
The last time I was deeply pained and upset about this issue was when Mr Karan Johar wrote a blog on it, and even once declared in an interview that there are many criteria for excelling in the film business. Talent is not one of them.

I don’t know if he was being misinformed, or simply naïve, but to discredit the likes of Mr Dilip Kumar, Mr K Asif, Mr Bimal Roy, Mr Satyajit Ray, Mr Guru Dutt, and many more, whose talent and exceptional abilities have formed the spine of our contemporary film business, is absolutely bizarre.
Even in today’s times, there are plenty of examples where it has repeatedly been proven that beyond the superficiality of branded clothes, polished accents, and a sanitised upbringing, exists grit, genuine hard-work, diligence, eagerness to learn, and the gigantic power of the human spirit. Many examples, all over the world, in every field, are a testimony to that. My dear friend Saif has written a letter on this topic and I would like to share my perspective. My request is that people must not misconstrue this and pit us against each other.

This is just a healthy exchange of ideas and not a clash between individuals.
Saif, in your letter you mentioned that, “I apologised to Kangana, and I don’t owe anyone any explanation, and this issue is over.” But this is not my issue alone. Nepotism is a practice where people tend to act upon temperamental human emotions, rather than intellectual tendencies. Businesses that are run by human emotions and not by great value-systems, might gain superficial profits. However, they cannot be truly productive and tap into the true potential of a nation of more than 1.3 billion people.

Nepotism, on many levels, fails the test of objectivity and rationale. I have acquired these values from the ones who have found great success and discovered a higher truth, much before me. These values are in the public domain, and no one has a copyright on them.
Greats like Vivekananda, Einstein and Shakespeare didn’t belong to a select few. They belonged to collective humanity. Their work has shaped our future, and our work will shape the future of the coming generations.

Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar are making headlines everyday ever since IIFA went on-air. Their 'Nepotism' act went viral on social media where they took a sly dig at Kangana Ranaut. This did not go down well with the fans and critics who, for a change, took the right stand and highly upset with the trio. But if we believe to the inside reports, Saif Ali Khan is miffed with Karan Johar.

According to the sources of Bollywoodlife, a source told,"Initially, Saif and Karan got along very well. They had rehearsed their lines, skits and acts. Saif is very particular about their lines together on stage. He wanted their on-stage time to be equally divided with an equal number of jokes, punchlines, etc.” Everything went smoothly during the rehearsals. There is an easy camaraderie that Saif and Karan have shared over the years because of Karan’s closeness to Kareena. All of it evaporated on stage for the actual event. Says the source, “On stage, Saif suddenly found Karan changing the lines. He took it in his stride for a while, but his resentment at being upstaged couldn’t be concealed."

We are still wondering, if everything is okay between them or not!

Rishi Kapoor Lashes Out At Anurag Basu For Jagga Jasoos Failure!

Rishi Kapoor slammed director Anurag Basu for the failure of Jagga Jasoos. He called him irresponsible. In an interview with Mid Day, Rishi Kapoor also slammed music director Pritam. He said,"Till Wednesday, Anurag Basu was still mixing the film. Can you imagine that? Pritam (composer) probably delivered the music only a week before. What can you say? You don’t take an opinion from anybody. Today’s filmmakers are doing this with everybody. They don’t show their films before release to take opinions, and treat it as though they’re making a nuclear bomb. I didn’t hate or love the film. I only felt it needed to be abridged by 20 minutes. But who is going to give that opinion to them? I totally agree with Ekta (Kapoor) when she threw him out from her film. He had problems with Rakesh Roshan while working on Kites (2010). He’s such an irresponsible director that he doesn’t complete the film. It was supposed to release three times in the past two years, but it kept getting delayed."

He added,"It did not release in Singapore because you have to deliver it five days in advance. It did not release in the Gulf on Thursday because it was only delivered to them on Thursday. This is unreasonable and irresponsible. You may be thinking you are making the Taj Mahal, but you are supposed to make it ready on time. Even Pritam delays his submissions. [It was later promoted as] a kids’ film. But, a kids’ film also has to release at the right time, like during the school vacations. At that time too, Anurag Basu wasn’t ready. There’s economics and maths involved. Everything is not just about creativity.”

You may be the biggest director in the world,” he said,“but nobody would like to work with you because you are irresponsible. There is somebody else’s money involved in this. I trusted you, and this is what you give us? Ranbir hasn’t held back on spending money on it. You even threw Govinda out of the film. If you don’t want Govinda to work in your film, why did you ask him in the first place?”
