Ubtans are even used by a lot of grooms as well .

Down Below am listing 3 amazing Ubtans that are tried and tested by me before my wedding and it made my skin glow and also made it look flawless.





  • MILK POWDER UBTAN : This is a very very famous and very well used Ubtan by many Indian brides to be . This one is super nourishing as well . For this Ubtan you will need  MILK POWDER, GRAM FLOUR,TURMERIC,MILK CREAM,LEMON JUICE and ROSE WATER. Mix 2 tablespoons each of milk powder,gram flour , to this add a pinch of turmeric powder . Now add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, milk cream and rose water . Apply this ubtan all over your face and body and give it a gentle massage as well , let the ubtan dry for some time and then wash it off with lukewarm water . Apply this Ubtan atleast thrice a week to get a gorgeous looking amazing skin .
  • GRAM FLOUR & WHEAT BRAN UBTAN : If you want to have a blemish free skin with a beaming glow before your big day then this is the ubtan you need to apply . For this you will need GRAM FLOUR, WHEAT BRAN, CURD and Turmeric. All you have to do this mix all the ingredients well in a bowl and make a nice paste of it , you could even add some rose water depending on the consistency you would like . Apply this all over your face and body and let it dry , then while massaging remove it with cold water . Do this thrice a week.
  • SANDALWOOD UBTAN :  Sandalwood ubtan works like magic for all brides to be . It's a great way to remove blemishes, tan , it enhances the complexion , makes the skin glow as well . This is my personal favourite ubtan as it did wonders to my skin .For this you will need  SANDALWOOD POWDER, GRAM FLOUR,TURMERIC.RAW MILK.ROSE WATER. Just mix milk to sandalwood powder, gram flour and turmeric , Mix these ingredients very well to form a smooth paste . Now apply this ubtan all over your face and body , let it dry and then wash it off with cold water . Do this at least twice a week.

PAC cosmetics have been " Love" since a very long time now . They have come out with some amazing products with an affordable range . I absolutely love their products .
I recently got hold of the new PAC PORE PRIMER: Flawless Finish Primer. I got the product from Amazon.in for INR 795 for 25 gms of product .





  • The primer comes in a very pretty Black tube , its a small tube and the tube is super soft to touch . I love the feel of it !! It has a silver colored cap and comes with a nozzle type of applicator , which makes it very easy to take out the product .  
  • At the back of the tube all ingredients are mentioned, which is really good thing 
  • The consistency is pretty thin but it's not transparent in color, It has a white milky shade but upon application, it doesn't show up at all.
  • It's supposed to minimize the appearance of the pores and fine line, Make the skin texture appear very smooth and soft.
MY TAKE: Well I am absolutely loving this primer and am so glad that I got this one. It definitely does what it claims to do. Whenever I have used this primer, it has made my pores literally disappear. It gives me a super smooth canvas to work with and the makeup looks even better . 
It definitely makes the makeup stay longer, also I have observed that it really controls the sweat that comes onto my nose especially and that's something amazing especially with the weather nowadays.
The best thing that it very nicely just sinks into the skin and doesn't take too much time to set on the face . The texture as I mentioned is very easy to blend and thin , has absolutely no color on the application .I have also seen my face looking much more brighter after the application . 

All in All its a super amazing primer , Works great for sure for someone with an  oily to combination skin type or even normal . The price is also good and the product will go a long away as very little is required for application . 

I would rate this product by PAC cosmetics a 5/5 , as I literally don't think there is any Con about this primer. My experience was just great with it.

I wasn't really a serum person until I found the Juicy Chemistry Cell Reconstruction Serum. This is the first face serum I ever used.  I got this one because am a huge fan of Juicy Chemistry products , they are very amazing and have effective results.
The serum retails for INR550 for 10ml of product , You can easily buy this one from Nykaa.com , Amazon.in or the juicy chemistry site as well .





As I have acne marks and some other dark spots on my face , I decided to give this one a shot so hence I purchased because I loved the amazing ingredients it had .

  • Packaging: The serum comes in a tiny glass bottle with a dropper cap which makes the application very easy and you have control on how much product you actually have .  Love the packaging a lot , its not even like extremely tender or anything .
  • Ingredients : It contains Rosehip oil , jojoba oil ,almond oil , carrot seed essential oil, lavender essential oil , Frankinscense essential oil , Geranium essential oil , Neroli essential oil , Helichrysum essential oil.
  • The consistency of this oil is runny, as it is a serum, it's not at all thick, has a very thin consistency.

MY TAKE:  I have been using this serum for almost a month now and I'm absolutely loving the results . I use it every night after cleansing and toning my face .  The serum helps to repair dull and damaged skin . It gives a very nice elasticity and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and spots. I use about 4 drops every night and gently massage it all over my face until the serum is almost absorbed. What I have observed that since the time I have been using this my skin has become pretty smooth and supple . I wake up every morning with a healthy looking nourished skin .  It's helped me a lot when it comes to dealing with my acne marks as well .  It has definitely evened out my skin tone and I do not see any dark patches or anything as well.  It's worked like a magical serum for me because it makes the skin look very amazing, within one week it starts showing results.
All in All if you are someone whose dealing with dark spots, uneven skin tone, blemished skin etc then this serum will definitely help you out a lot!

 3. After washing your hair , wring out the water with a T-shirt instead of  a towel to prevent tangles and frizz . Unlike a T shirt , the towel will absorb too much water and moisture which causes frizz, The smoothness of a T shirt will also help smooth your curls.
4. When letting your hair dry, try "pineappling" or piling your hair into a loose bun or ponytail on top of your head. This will prevent gravity from pulling your curls out and causing frizz .
 5. Don't completely rinse out all the conditioner when washing hair . It's pretty okay to leave some residual conditioner in your hair . Your curly ends need all the moisture they can get.

Ranbir and Katrina's movie Jagga Jasoos is all set to release on July 14. The movie has been in news ever since it has been announced because of Ranbir Katrina's break up. Now, it's in headlines again because of Govinda. His pictures are going viral on social media on the sets with Ranbir and Katrina. When Anurag was asked about it, he said,"I've shot a couple of days with him in the first schedule. Then there were changes in the story and other things. But Govinda isn't in the film, his part isn't there. It was very kind of him to agree when I requested him for the guest appearance. But it's our loss that he isn't there."

In an interview with Indian Express, when Ranbir was asked about, he said,"Unfortunately the entire track has been chopped off; it is our fault, Basu and mine. We had started this film very prematurely, without a complete script. The character had completely changed, and the film was taking so long. #1 Sandalwood & Rose Water :  This is often known as an amazing winter face pack , It keeps the skin smooth and clean , along with having a beautiful glow and an even toned complexion. 
  • You will require : SANDALWOOD POWDER & ROSE WATER .
  • Start with a clean washed face ,use lukewarm, mix both the ingredients well to form a thick paste . Now apply this face pack all over your face and neck , keep it on for good 15 minutes and then gently massage the face while washing the face pack using cold water . Use this Twice a week .
#2 Papaya Face Pack :  For all the brides who are looking for a smooth , blemish free and glowing skin , Use this pack . This is like a perfect face treat at home to get rid of a lot of skin issues as Papaya works magically for our skin .
  • You will require : PAPAYA PULP 
  • Start with taking some ripe papaya and apply it on the face for about 20 minutes . Wash off after 20 minutes . If you feel the skin is being too dry mix some milk also in it . It'll give you an extra boost of glow and nourishment.

  • You will require: Almonds & Milk 
  • Soak about 4-5 almonds in milk, after that peel and grind them. Mix this powder with some milk to make a smooth and thick paste. Apply this for good 15 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water. Do this Thrice a week and you'll see a huge change in the way your skin looks.

In Review : Juicy Chemistry Coffee & Green Tea Infused Eye Cream !

Dealing with under eye darkness, dark circles, puffiness, fine lines etc can be quite a challenging task at times.  Dark circles are a thing that really annoys all of us. Dark circles can make our whole face look gloomy.




Here is a review of this eye cream from Juicy Chemistry that I have been using since a month now and I thought It'll be good if I let you guys know about it as well and share my take on this product.


  • The under eye cream retails for INR450 for 6g of product , and be purchased from Nykaa.com , amazon.in or even juicychemistry site as well . 
  • It has a shelf life of about 6 months from opening .
  • The Cofee & Green Tea Infused Eye Cream has : coffee infused oil , green tea infused oil , almond oil , shea butter , coco butter , lavender essential oil , turmeric oil , rosemary oil , vitmain e oil , bee's wax and Cinamon oil .
How To Use :  Wash your face wih a mild face wash and pat dry with a gentle and clean cloth . Apply the juicy chemistry coffee and green tea infused under eye cream on the affected areas under the eye avoiding the contact with eye . To be applied at night.

MY TAKE : So this under eye cream comes in a small little round shaped container. It has 3 detachable parts, The texture of the cream is like other ordinary creams , It is in like this solidified form of all the oils combined together and starts to melt down in hot surroundings. As for the formulation, the product is all natural , as thats what the brand is all about .
I have noticed that upon application, initially, it might sting just a very little bit because of all the herbal infused oils , but it goes away after 2-3 times of application.

Talking about the results, am very happy with the results it has shown for my under eye darkness. They have reduced to a great extent and am totally loving it. I would say you need to be very consistent with this under eye cream to actually show results and help to reduce under eye issues. It cannot be used in the day time , as the greeny color it has does leave a color on the under eye area as well.  The fragrance of this product can be pleasing and also annoying to some people because it does have a strong fragrance.  I use this daily in my night time skin care routine and i personally really liked this product  as it has shown great results .

All in all I think its a pretty good , effective and affordable under eye cream that you can definitely give a shot to . I would rate this product a 4/5 !!
